CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — September 2025 — Apple today introduced Apple Watch Series 11, the most advanced Apple Watch yet, featuring breakthrough health innovations, a more durable design, and faster connectivity. The new model delivers hypertension notifications, a new sleep score feature, up to 24 hours of battery life, and a 2x more scratch-resistant display, all in Apple’s thinnest and most comfortable design to date.
With watchOS 26, users gain even more ways to stay active, healthy, and connected — including Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence, new watch faces, Smart Stack improvements, and intuitive gestures like the wrist flick.

Breakthrough Health Features
Hypertension Notifications: Using the optical heart sensor, Apple Watch Series 11 can detect signs of chronic high blood pressure. Validated through large-scale studies, this feature can provide early insights into hypertension — the leading modifiable risk factor for heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease. Pending FDA and global regulatory clearance, the feature will roll out this month to more than 150 countries and regions, including the U.S. and EU.
Sleep Score: Built on guidance from leading sleep organizations, Apple Watch now provides a clear, data-driven score that reflects sleep quality. Users receive nightly insights and a detailed breakdown of sleep stages, helping them improve rest and recovery.
Durability, Battery Life, and Connectivity
Up to 24 hours of battery life with support for fast charging — just 15 minutes delivers up to 8 hours.
Ion-X glass on aluminum models now offers 2x better scratch resistance, enhanced with a ceramic coating. Titanium models continue to feature sapphire crystal for maximum durability.
5G cellular connectivity ensures faster downloads, stronger reception, and expanded coverage, even when iPhone isn’t nearby.
Fitness and watchOS 26
The new Workout Buddy delivers personalized, spoken motivation using Apple Intelligence. Users also benefit from a redesigned Workout app, more customizable workout views, Race Route, and smarter music and podcast recommendations.
Other watchOS 26 updates include Liquid Glass design, two new watch faces (Flow and Exactograph), live translation in Messages, enhanced Smart Stack, and new productivity features like Notes on Apple Watch and Call Screening.

Apple Watch Series 11 is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes.
Aluminum finishes: space gray (new), jet black, rose gold, and silver.
Polished titanium finishes: natural, gold, and slate.
Apple Watch Hermès introduces the new Faubourg Party knit band and elegant Grand H link band.
This season’s band lineup includes fresh colors such as forest, neon yellow, anchor blue, and purple fog, along with updated Nike Sport Bands and Sport Loops featuring reflective yarn.
Commitment to the Environment
Aligned with Apple’s 2030 carbon-neutral goal, Apple Watch Series 11 is made with 40% recycled content, including 100% recycled cobalt in the battery and 100% recycled aluminum or titanium in the case. Titanium models use an advanced 3D printing process that cuts raw material use in half. Packaging is now fully fiber-based.

Pre-orders open today in more than 50 countries and regions, with availability beginning Friday, September 19.
watchOS 26 will be available September 15 for Apple Watch Series 6 and later, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) and later, and all Apple Watch Ultra models.
